Abstract

Adopting an interdisciplinarity scope is the state of the art in research. We outline advanced bibliometric analysis techniques to create bibliometric science maps and visualizations. The aim is to systematically explore prior research with a wide disciplinary scope to obtain inspirations from beyond one own’s discipline. In our case study, we delve into new measurements for entrepreneurial intuition. We provide sample maps and show how the groundwork in other disciplines can stimulate new measurements. Our research note supports researchers at the exploratory stage to enable recommendations about how to walk new paths to illustrates how bibliometric science mapping can support exploratory measurement discovery across disciplines by crossing disciplinary borders.
