Evaluating Architectural Material Performance : Comparing Ladybug + Honeybee Simulations With Measured Data for White Glaze Tiles in Residential Design, Higashi-Osaka**1**

SWSuoao WANGMNMitsufusa NittaHKHikaru Kinoshita

Key Points

  • The aim is to evaluate the accuracy of Ladybug and Honeybee simulations in predicting the performance of white glaze tiles.
  • Used Ladybug + Honeybee simulation tools to analyze white glaze tile performance.
  • Conducted actual temperature measurements in the H-house.
  • Compared simulation results with measured data for assessment.
  • The simulations provided performance predictions that were compared to real temperature measurements.
  • Findings may indicate the reliability of using simulation tools in residential design.

Abstract

This paper uses Ladybug + Honeybee as simulation tools to evaluate their performance by analyzing white glaze tile. The performance of Ladybug + Honeybee and white glaze tile were examined by comparing the simulation results with the actual temperature measurements of the H-house.
