Hybrid Organic-Metal Halides By implementing a solvent-assisted drop-casting strategy guided by surface energy considerations, the substrate-supported growth of highly crystalline, orientation-controlled chiral HOMHs microplates with excellent SHG performance and thermally induced reversible SHG switching is achieved. This work not only expands the library of environmentally benign NLO materials but also lays the groundwork for their incorporation into chip-scale nonlinear photonic circuits and reconfigurable light-based devices.
