Abstract

An efficient and operationally simple protocol for the synthesis of disulfanes and 2‐oxindoles mediated by selectfluor under metal‐free conditions is described here. The methodology proceeds under mild reaction conditions and exhibits broad substrate scope, delivering the corresponding disulfane and 2‐oxindole derivatives in good to excellent yields.
