Abstract

The Galactic Vortex Core Model (GVCM) presents a conceptual hypothesis exploring analternative structural interpretation of galactic centers. Standard astrophysical modelsdescribe these regions as dominated by supermassive black holes formed through gravitationalcollapse. The GVCM proposes that galactic centers may instead be interpreted as large-scalerotational vortex systems, structurally analogous to terrestrial hurricane systems.Version 2.0 expands the original framework with a systematic comparison to the hurricaneanalogy, explicit references to established astrophysical mechanisms (MRI, Blandford-Znajek, AGN torus structures), a sharper formulation of the Vortex Core Region (VCR) as anon-singular stable inner zone, and a set of conceptual observational predictions thatcould be used to evaluate the plausibility of the model.This hypothesis does not attempt to replace established astrophysical models. It ispresented as an exploratory framework intended to stimulate discussion about the role ofrotational self-organization in galactic center dynamics.
