In this study, silicon carbide (SiC) nanowires were synthesized by using a carbothermal reduction method and subsequently coated with polyaniline (PANI) via in situ polymerization to form a 2-PANI-Coated SiC nanowire composite. This distinctive nanostructure effectively combines the high aspect ratio of SiC nanowires with the tunable conductivity and interfacial polarization properties of PANI. As a result, the composite exhibits markedly improved electromagnetic wave absorption performance, featuring a strong minimum reflection loss of up to −52.60 dB and allowing for thinner material layers. These enhancements are attributed to optimized impedance matching, multilevel interfacial polarization, and extended electromagnetic dissipation pathways facilitated by the one-dimensional morphology of the nanowires. The findings offer a promising approach for advanced applications in electromagnetic wave interference and stealth technology.
