Abstract

The golden ratio phi = 1.618... does not arise arbitrarily in nature. It is the ground state of the geometric coupling theory coupling equation evaluated at the minimum dimensional regime. Fibonacci sequences emerge as degenerate manifestations of this fundamental coupling at biological scales.
