This evidence note examines recent preclinical findings on gut microbiome modulation in advanced chronic liver disease (ACLD). The findings are interpreted within the Universal Resonance Model (URM) as system-level stability modulation in the gut–liver axis. The study demonstrates that probiotic intervention can improve gut barrier integrity, microbial balance, and inflammatory signaling in an in vitro model. These effects are reframed as system-level stability modulation rather than isolated biological changes, supporting the gut–liver axis as a critical intervention point in disease dynamics. This work is part of the URM Evidence Note series, which links emerging mechanistic findings to system-level interpretations of disease dynamics.
