The information system being designed is a web application for assessing the environmental performance of the traffic flow, which uses a client-server architecture "client-server". The client side implements a web interface displayed using a web browser. The modeling of the processes of the subject area was performed and diagrams were developed: a context diagram "Calculation and assessment of environmental indicators of the traffic flow"; processes in IDEF0; a decomposition diagram of the process of calculating environmental indicators of the traffic flow. The main functional requirements are developed in the problem statement section. In the section selection of technologies and means of application implementation, the following are developed: an expanded list of functional requirements; basic non-functional requirements. The general requirements for the system are defined. The choice of technologies and means of application implementation has been made. Application usage scenarios have been designed. Developed: a diagram of application use cases; a diagram of the precedent sequence "Input of basic measurements"; a diagram of the precedent sequence "Calculation"; precedent sequence diagram "Environmental performance assessment"; precedent sequence diagram "Pollution statistics"; precedent sequence diagram "Registration"; precedent sequence diagram "User authorization"; infological database model; physical database model. The main stages of database and user application design are considered. The architecture of the software application is considered.
