ABSTRACT The footwear sector faces increasing environmental pressures from fast fashion, prompting firms to adopt circular supply chain management (CSCM) to maximize resource efficiency and minimize waste. However, CSCM remains difficult due to resource constraints and complex interdependencies among influencing factors. This study develops a hierarchical model to help footwear firms prioritize CSCM actions. Focusing on Rens Original, a Finnish startup, this study examines CSCM decision‐making under resource constraints. It applies a hybrid EFA–FSM–DEMATEL approach to handle linguistic uncertainty and visualize causal drivers. The findings reveal that synchronous business strategy transformation and enhanced operational efficiency are the most influential drivers, directly shaping product innovation and creation as well as leadership commitment. Results identify eco‐friendly packaging and zero‐waste processes as primary driving forces. The model provides a prioritization roadmap for firms deciding where to invest limited sustainability resources and contributes theoretical and managerial insights for the footwear industry while suggesting directions for future research across other sectors and regions.
