Synthesizing Wheeler-Feynman Absorber Theory,Gravitational Wave Astronomy, and Ecological Dynamics AbstractWe present a unied framework connecting the Wheeler-Feynman absorber theory of electro-dynamics with observational cosmology through the parameter α (emitter/absorber ratio).Standard physics assumes α = 1 (perfect balance); we demonstrate that existence requiresα̸ = 1, where α < 1 (more emitters than absorbers) generates the temporal asymmetry weexperience as time, gravitational wave inspiral, and cosmic evolution.This work synthesizes two convergent lines of inquiry: (1) the Transactional Homeostasisframework establishing temporal asymmetry as the condition for observable existence, and(2) proposals by Huw Price and collaborators for measuring α via gravitational wave data.We show that the imbalance is not a pathology but the condition of dynamic homeostasisthe universe is healthy precisely because it is slightly asymmetric.Key innovation: Waves (retarded/advanced) serve as messengers; the work is doneby cosmological boundary conditions (temporal asymmetry).
