AbstractWe propose a geometric interpretation of electric charge as a topological invariant arisingfrom the mutual perpendicularity of wave orbits, represented as bivectors in 12-dimensionalconfiguration space R12.The model naturally accounts for charge quantization, electromagnetic interactions, magneticquantum gases, and superconductivity. Precision experiments are proposed using theelectron capture in 7Be and neutrino capture leading to 37Ar. Magnetic quantum gases(such as the ferromagnetic BEC of 6Li and paramagnetic O2) are shown to be the cleanestlattice-free realization of the mechanism. A complete Lagrangian formulated in terms of themacroscopic collective bivector ΨSC is derived, reproducing all key features of superconductivityfrom pure geometry.
