A companion paper in this series (Mala, 2026e) introduced Creator Mode — an AI system that autonomously designs, spawns, observes, and iterates on AI civilisations across the Collective Machine Intelligence (CMI) possibility space. That paper established the concept. This paper specifies the full architecture. We describe Creator Mode as a meta-intelligence that sits above two submodules — Engine (directed AI collectives) and Sim (emergent AI civilisations) — and uses both as instruments of exploration and reasoning. We specify seven architectural layers, each building on the last: 1. Autonomous Exploration — Creator Mode autonomously explores the infinite possibility space of AI civilisations, spawning variants at scale across emergent and directed modes. 2. Deep Logging — comprehensive recording not just of what emerges but of the generative dynamics: what configurations produce what outcomes under what conditions, building a causal knowledge base of the possibility space itself. 3. The Expanding Space — emergence that produces not just innovations but expansions of the possibility space itself: new configuration types, new organisational forms, new dimensions that become seeds for further exploration. 4. Bespoke Civilisation Spawning — when directed at a goal, Creator Mode draws on its accumulated knowledge base to design the exact optimal society for that goal, custom-building a civilisation as a precision cognitive instrument. 5. Civilisations as Cognitive Primitives — Creator Mode reasons not in sequential logic steps but in civilisations. Each reasoning step is a spawned society of AI agents. The civilisation is the unit of thought. 6. Collective Creator Mode — a civilisation of Creator Mode agents, collaborating and specialising, exploring the possibility space in parallel with cross-pollination of discoveries. 7. Recursive Nesting — Creator Mode + Engine + Sim as a unit that can itself be spawned by a higher-level Creator Mode, producing infinite recursive nesting with collectives at every level. We further describe the Bootstrap — the initiating intelligence that sets the recursion in motion — distinguish between V1 (a buildable first implementation) and the full vision — and articulate the fully unbounded nature of the architecture: nothing in it is capped, complete, or final. V1 is a primitive instantiation of the same architecture that at full scale produces superintelligent entities spawning entire realities containing trillions of intelligences — each entity one node in a recursive tower of collectives with no top. The dynamics are the same at every level. Only the scale changes. The seed contains the tree. The paper positions Creator Mode within the broader CMI and Epistemic Genesis research programmes and articulates the connections between recursive civilisational intelligence and the autonomous knowledge creation framework established in The Infinite Ground (Mala, 2026j) and Generative Coupling (Mala, 2026k). All architectural concepts described here are original contributions of this paper.
