Welcome to the first issue of the IJPE in 2025. After a successful launch last year, the journal is focused on continuous development through the next twelve months with the first enhancement being the engagement of a design company to provide even more professional formatting for all articles published. The content of the journal will continue to focus exclusively on excipients to highlight scientific advances as well as providing reviews and commentaries on contemporary topics where more understanding, knowledge and guidance would be helpful.
