Key Points

  • The aim is to establish a microphysical layer within a substrate framework to interpret gravitational behavior and continuity.
  • Developed a theoretical interpretive layer based on previous frameworks.
  • Examined local deformation and its supports in a continuous substrate.
  • Analyzed gravitational responses to displacement and gradient.
  • Clarified the nature of continuity in physical systems.
  • Revealed structured deformations align with substrate behaviors.
  • Established a Lorentz-compatible framework without modifying existing theories.

Abstract

This paper develops the microphysical interpretive layer of a broader substrate‑based research program. It builds explicitly on The Displacement Framework: Horizon‑Bounded Accounting in a Timeless 4D Manifold (Partin, 2026a) and Toward a Formal No‑Tear Theorem in a Continuous Substrate Framework (Partin, 2026b), extending that foundation to the level of supported excitations, local deformation, and gradient‑based detectability. Within this interpretive framework, the vacuum is treated as a continuous substrate capable of supporting localized excitations without introducing new dynamics or modifying established theories. Local matter is understood as structured deformation of the substrate, and gravitational behavior is interpreted as the substrate’s response to displacement and gradient. The analysis clarifies continuity, boundary formation, and observational silence in a Lorentz‑compatible manner while remaining fully consistent with standard geometric and field‑theoretic formalisms.
