Key Points

  • This document aims to clarify the current status and readiness requirements of the Sal-Meter kernel program for external stakeholders.
  • Describes the stages of the Sal-Meter kernel program from External Layer-0 to broader opening.
  • Provides guidance on necessary preparations for laboratories and technical teams.
  • Outlines the importance of aligning external readiness with internal specifications.
  • Clarified the phases of the Sal-Meter program, emphasizing reproducibility and technical validation.
  • Outlined specific actions for laboratories to ensure confidence in compliance and readiness.
  • Reduced potential for premature claims regarding the program's status.

Abstract

This document is a public, non-clinical, pre-opening scientific coordination dossier aligned to the current execution order of the Sal-Meter / CAIS kernel program: External Layer-0 → SICS Internal Phase 0 → Phase 1 → Phase 2a → Phase 2b → LOCK 1 / LOCK 2 → SDK release and future broader opening. It is not a broad external competition announcement. It is a readiness-oriented scientific dossier for principal investigators, laboratories, and technical teams who need to understand what stage the program is actually in, what is already fixed, what remains open, what should be prepared now, and what must not be publicly overstated. The Sal-Meter program is presently in a kernel-first, reproducibility-first research stage. Broader external opening is downstream and becomes justifiable only after prior technical and validation locks are satisfied. What a serious laboratory can do now:• Review the canonical boundary documents• Identify which layer of the stack the laboratory could realistically own• Prepare internal technical feasibility, personnel, and governance readiness• Avoid premature claims regarding compliance, certification, or open participation status This PI Readiness Edition is designed to reduce confusion, prevent premature claims, and align external scientific readiness with the current state of the Sal-Meter / CAIS kernel program.
