The fundamental assumption of a smooth, continuous spacetime manifold is the primarysource of infinite divergences in both Quantum Field Theory and General Relativity. Thispaper dismantles the smooth-space axiom by formalizing the 3D-2D-3D fold-back mech-anism. We prove mathematically that what classical physics identifies as a “singularity”(e.g., in black holes or the Big Bang) is merely a 2D topological truncation boundary. Atthis boundary, excess energy is cleanly truncated and absorbed as the universal constant ϵ,rendering infinite renormalization processes mathematically obsolete. No prior literature iscited.
