Key Points

  • To introduce and analyze the Digital Swarm Behavior Theory (DSBT) as a framework for understanding online collective aggression.
  • Developed a theoretical framework based on swarm intelligence dynamics.
  • Applied clinical interpretations to behavioral health contexts.
  • Utilized generative AI tools for formatting and organization.
  • Provided tools for de-escalation in digital environments.
  • Highlighted the applicability of swarm dynamics to behavioral challenges online.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper introduces the Digital Swarm Behavior Theory (DSBT), a clinical framework designed to analyze collective online aggression. By applying swarm intelligence dynamics to behavioral health, this study provides tools for de-escalation in digital environments Jason Langley, RN, BSN, is the sole author of this manuscript. Generative AI tools, including Google Gemini was used to assist with formatting, structural organization, and alignment with APA 7th Edition stylistic guidelines. The theoretical framework, clinical interpretations, and the “Sovereign Mind” concepts are the original intellectual work of the author. The author reviewed, edited, and takes full responsibility for the final content. No AI tool contributed to the development of the theoretical models, hypotheses, or clinical conclusions presented herein."
