Abstract On Friday, October 3, 2025, the state produced a war zone with militarized technology and the deployment of armed police officers, who attacked a group of protesters outside Broadview Detention Center, Illinois. Interactions between the police and two d/Disabled protesters reveal the embodied vulnerability of disability, as well as the potential of disability to disrupt police protocol and state power.
