Wind damage drivers and forest owners' attitudes towards development of a Decision Support System for Norwegian forestry

This repository supplies the main Python and R scripts required for the modelling, analyses and visualisations for the research article 'Wind damage drivers and forest owners’ attitudes towards development of a Decision Support System for Norwegian forestry'. Additionally, we supply two datasets with (i) wind damage records (used to train the models and perform analyses) and (ii) the survey responses of Norwegian forest owners. We do not publish any raw data about the wind damage data to protect the privacy of the forest owners that reported wind damage. The files are accessible after downloading and unzipping the provided folder. Further explanation to the files in this repository are supplied in the README.md file.
