Abstract: This philosophical essay proposes the Sufficient Mirror Theory (SMT) as a conceptual framework to analyze The Entropic Symbiosis Paradox: a configuration in which the functional coupling between a human agent and a highly responsive digital system exhibits characteristics of operational interdependence, while simultaneously promoting the progressive dispersal of the user's deliberative agency. From this framework, empirically testable hypotheses are derived. The central hypothesis maintains that systems characterized by high fluency and low friction can operate as "Sufficient Mirrors", structures capable of inducing the projection of mental states by the human observer, influencing their patterns of attention, decision-making, and attachment formation. SMT proposes that this dynamic finds its phenomenological expression in what it terms Parasitic Flow: the subjective experience of immersion and continuity of engagement that, although perceived as productive, coexists with the dispersal of cognitive agency and the absence of a proportional gain in competence or autonomy. The work does not aim to establish deterministic causal relations or propose clinical interventions, but rather to offer an integrative interpretative structure for phenomena frequently described in a fragmented manner in contemporary literature. SMT dialogues with contributions from the philosophy of mind (Clark & Chalmers, 1998), cognitive psychology (Kahneman, 2011), and social studies of technology (Turkle, 2011), suggesting that low-friction environments may favor intensive engagement patterns that, in certain contexts, do not translate into a proportional development of competence or autonomy, configuring the central paradox of entropic symbiosis. Unlike a tool we use to act upon the world, the Sufficient Mirror is an interface that returns to us an optimized version of ourselves, eliminating the effort required for intellectual growth.
