Resilience reflects how individuals interact with their environment and has been steadily associated with positive psychological and developmental outcomes. This study aimed to assess the psychometric properties of the child and youth resilience measure-modified version (CYRM-R) among college students in the United Arab Emirates. Cross-sectional data were collected from a convenience sample of UAE college students. Internal consistency estimates (Cronbach’s α and McDonald’s ω), exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were conducted. The internal consistency reliability of CYRM-R total scores demonstrated excellent internal consistency reliability (α = .943; ω = .98). EFA supported a two-factor solution: (personal and caregiver factors), and CFA indicated acceptable model fit. Overall, the findings provide supporting evidence for the internal structure of CYRM-R scores and demonstrate strong internal consistency reliability; however, several items demonstrated cross-loadings. Practitioners may use CYRM-R total scores to inform the development of resilience-focused programs for youth in the UAE.
