Climate change is a crucial governance concern of the 21st century. Effective climate governance necessitates not just policy commitments but also the enforcement of environmental rules, institutional accountability, and business responsibilities for sustainable development. The environmental rule of law has arisen as a framework to guarantee that environmental legislation is transparent, enforceable, and underpinned by robust institutions. This article analyses the interaction between climate governance tools and the environmental rule of law in fostering regulatory compliance and corporate accountability. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating comparative legal analysis, case studies, and policy assessment to investigate enforcement difficulties in both national and international contexts. The results underscore deficiencies in regulatory enforcement, insufficient corporate responsibility, and the necessity for more robust institutional frameworks. The report concludes with suggestions for enhancing environmental governance via refined legislative frameworks, increased public participation, and bolstered international cooperation.
