The dentigerous cyst is a developmental odontogenic cyst and the second most frequent cystic lesion of the jaws. It develops around the crown of an impacted tooth and is most often asymptomatic, discovered incidentally on routine radiographic examination. We report the case of a 31-year-old male patient presenting with a unilocular radiolucent lesion associated with an impacted maxillary left third molar (tooth 28). The patient was managed by complete surgical enucleation combined with extraction of the causative tooth. Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of dentigerous cyst. The postoperative course was uneventful with favorable healing at two-week follow-up.
