Entrepreneurialism and gender-based inequality Implications for gender and entrepreneurship from a recent special issue of the Academy of Management Perspectives on entrepreneurialism, inequality, and society. In a prior Open Access Government article, Professor Jennifer Jennings from the University of Alberta applied insights from her paper published in the Academy of Management (AOM) Perspectives to the topic of women’s entrepreneurial activity in contexts of oppression. Here, she draws implications for gender and entrepreneurship more broadly from a recent AOM Perspectives special issue focused on the ideology of entrepreneurialism and social inequality.
