Bubbles can be found in many facets of our daily lives, such as soap bubbles, soft beverages, and the bubbles formed by ocean waves. But the innovation of medical microbubbles is having potential significance in therapeutics. Drug delivery has made significant strides, from taking care to prevent air emboli during injection to administering microbubbles as drug. Theranostics uses microbubbles in conjunction with ultrasound.
