Key Points

  • The aim is to understand how UV exposure affects radiophotoluminescence in Ag-doped alkali phosphate glass.
  • Analyzed RPL characteristics under prolonged UV exposure
  • Examined electron spin resonance signals
  • Compared data across various Ag-doped RPL glasses
  • Observed reductions in RPL signals after long-term UV exposure
  • Identified specific mechanisms affecting RPL centers
  • Provided insights applicable to multiple Ag-doped RPL glass types

Abstract

We successfully elucidated the RPL characteristics of SAPANS under long-term UV exposure. The results of this study provide new insights into the RPL centers of not only SAPANS but also various Ag-doped RPL glasses.
