Key Points

  • The aim is to validate recent data concerning semi-supercentenarians who died between 2015 and 2024.
  • Conducted a validation covering 100 alleged deaths of individuals aged 105 to 109.
  • Used data from the RNIPP (National Directory of Identified Population).
  • Validated 100 alleged deaths of semi-supercentenarians between 2015 and 2024.

Abstract

Given the fact that the two previous validations concerning French semi-supercentenarians, who died between the ages of 105 and 109, have been performed long time ago (the most recent of these validations concerned data prior to 2015), it was proposed that the French team collecting these data carry out a new validation covering deaths that occurred between 2015 and 2024. Identical to the previous validation, this validation should have covered 100 alleged deaths that occurred between the ages of 105 and 109 according to the RNIPP.
