In this study, the "thermodynamic inefficiency" (leakage) that occurs during the transformation of Dark Matter (DM) into Baryonic Matter (BM) is proposed as the fundamental mechanism that increases the energy density of the quantum vacuum. This "leakage" mechanism is the physical source of the Dark Energy (Λ) we observe. Depending on the matter density of the leakage, the model offers a mechanistic and consistent solution to the Hubble Tension, one of the biggest deadlocks of modern cosmology.
