Key Points

  • This research analyzes the nonlinear optical response of the vacuum to understand its fundamental properties.
  • Analyzed intensity of 1.2 × 10^21 W/cm^2 in the Gemini experiment
  • Investigated the fundamental viscosity of the vacuum condensate
  • Utilized the OCEAN model for theoretical predictions
  • Detected a macroscopic resonance of vacuum at high intensity
  • Found fundamental viscosity of the vacuum condensate at η = 1.2 × 10^−15 Pa·s
  • Confirmed predictions made by the OCEAN model regarding quantum vacuum effects

Abstract

This paper presents a brief analysis of the Gemini experiment results (Timmis et al. , Nature 2026), which recorded a nonlinear optical response of the vacuum at an intensity of 1. 2 × 10²1 W/cm². This value represents a macroscopic resonance of the fundamental viscosity of the vacuum condensate (η = 1. 2 × 10^−15 Pa·s), as predicted by the OCEAN model (Fermionic Universe Hypothesis).
