This study investigates the effect of Ethylene Glycol (EG) addition on the emission characteristics of a single-cylinder diesel engine. Light oil was blended with EG at concentrations of 5 vol.%, 10 vol.%, and 15 vol.%, respectively. The exhaust emissions of HC, CO, NOx, and PM were measured under different engine loads. The objective of this study is to clarify how the addition of EG influences the emission behavior of diesel engines.
