Lay Summary Crohn’s disease is a chronic, lifelong condition, but there has been a notable absence of long-term data from clinical trials, with outcomes typically focused on shorter-term outcomes at 6 months, at 1 year, or at most 2 years. The growing amount of longer-term data from clinical trial programs is therefore welcome and valuable for patients to help guide on selection of appropriate therapies and treatment strategies.
