Key Points

  • The aim is to develop a novel lead-free piezoelectric ceramic with improved high-temperature performance and thermal stability.
  • Fabrication of lead-free (1− x )BF– x BT–0.01(BNT–20BKT) piezoelectric ceramic with compositions ranging from 0.27 to 0.35.
  • Measurement of piezoelectric properties, primarily d33, at varying depolarization temperatures.
  • At x = 0.31, an in situ d33 of 687.8 pC N-1 was achieved.
  • The depolarization temperature (Tdr) was found to be 381.8 °C.

Abstract

A novel lead-free (1− x )BF– x BT–0.01(BNT–20BKT)(0.27 ≤ x ≤ 0.35) piezoelectric ceramic was fabricated. At x = 0.31, an in situ d 33 of 687.8 pC N −1 was achieved at a depolarization temperature ( T dr ) of 381.8 °C.
