Bioarchaeological investigations of a Neo-Assyrian grave chamber in the City of Arbil with five buried individuals, excavated from 2009–2011, reviewed the archaeological and anthropological evidence at the same time contextualizing them with funerary contexts from Dūr-Katlimmu and Ashur. First results of aDNA analysis show that the tomb contained a family grave.
