This review systematically summarizes recent advances in understanding the role of ferroptosis in AD and highlights the therapeutic potential of natural products that target ferroptotic pathways. We aim to provide theoretical support and candidate molecules for the development of novel AD treatment strategies based on ferroptosis regulation, and thus offer valuable insights for future research into new ferroptosis inhibitors.
