ABSTRACT The non‐catalytic oscillation reaction system of green tea was studied systematically in the paper, and the effects of the concentrations of each reactant (green tea, KBrO 3 and H 2 SO 4 ) and temperature were explored. The research results show that Optimal oscillation occurred at 20.00 mg/mL green tea, 0.54 mol/L H 2 SO 4 , 0.056 mol/L KBrO 3 , and 298.15 K, and activation energies were 80.09 kJ/mol (induction) and 43.68 kJ/mol (oscillation). Using the Arrhenius equation and thermodynamics, reaction order and parameters were determined. The negative entropy change (Δ S <0) indicates a transition from disorder to order.
