The article is devoted to the problem of studying internal communications in an organization. Nowadays, most often, the formation of the communication process in an organization occurs "by itself. The well-established relationship between the manager and the staff (and vice versa) encourages them to fulfill their duties and improve their work. Communication takes up most of the time in a company, and it sometimes happens unconsciously. Verbally or in writing, we always exchange information. That is why the study of communications is necessary for every enterprise, since the relationship between the head and employees affects the effective work and development of the organization, their motivation and a favorable atmosphere in the team. The purpose of this work is to analyze theoretical approaches to the formation of an effective system of internal communications based on the analysis of scientific literature. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: to study the theoretical foundations of communications in an organization, to study the main types and forms of communication in an organization, to determine the role of communications in the management of the organization's personnel based on classifications presented in the scientific literature.
