The main purpose of the study was to construct and standardize an attitude scale toward Mathematics for Grade 9th Schedule Caste students studying in government high schools in Lucknow. Based on the cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions of attitude, the scale was developed through a systematic and multi-phase procedure including planning, blueprint preparation, item drafting, small group testing, expert validation, pilot testing, and item analysis. The final scale consists of 25 items that provide a context-sensitive and balanced measure of students' different dimensions of attitude toward Mathematics. The study offers a reliable and relevant tool for assessing mathematical attitudes and supporting targeted educational interventions at the secondary level.
