The Role of Digital Media in Preserving and Promoting Rabindrik Education and Cultural Heritage

The rapid development of technology in the digital age has opened a new direction in the widespread expansion of education and cultural preservation. In this article, the role of digital media and the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage and the role of Rabindrik education have been analyzed from a theoretical perspective. Rabindrik education is based on nature and is based on humanism. World poet Rabindranath Tagore's thought of liberation and education centered on overall human development are very relevant to the current technology-dependent society. In this context, one of the means to convey Rabindranath Tagore's educational philosophy to the new generation is digital media (like- e-learning platforms, digital archive, social media, virtual museum etc.), which has developed Bengali culture at the global level. The purpose of this research is to analyze the important transformative role that digital media is playing in preserving and promoting Tagore's literature, music, painting, art, dance-drama, etc. worldwide. Students are able to deeply understand Tagore's educational philosophy through digital library, audio-video recordings, digital platforms, online resources, interactive content, etc. Digital media is working to bridge the cultures of the world with Bengali culture. However, some challenges of digital media are also present. For example, culture distortion and commercialization, digital divide, reliability-validity problem etc. to address these challenges, proper use of technology in educational framework, improvement of information quality and proper policy formulation, coordinated efforts of technologists and educators, collaborative efforts of educational institutions, cultural organizations are absolutely necessary for sustainable preservation. Overall, this article indicates that digital media is not only a means of preservation in the preservation and promotion of Rabindranath Tagore's education and cultural heritage, but also serves as a powerful tool for revitalizing and globally disseminating Rabindranath Tagore's wealth, which is capable of connecting the values of the past with modernity.
