Community Support: Reflections on the 2025 ACM Europe Summer School on Accessible and Inclusive Technologies

The 2025 ACM Europe Summer School on Accessible and Inclusive Technologies, hosted by the University of Borås in the Swedish School of Textiles, brought together an inspiring community of emerging scholars and established experts to explore the intersection of accessibility, inclusive design, and HCI. Known internationally as Sweden's capital of textile design, Borås offered a fitting backdrop for deep conversations about the future of inclusive tangible interfaces and accessible smart textiles, as well as the responsibility we share in ensuring these emerging technologies are accessible to different users.
