Key Points

  • The aim is to explore how interfacial electronic coupling affects catalytic performance in the oxygen evolution reaction.
  • Fabrication of Ni3Mo3C@MoO2 structures to enhance coupling effects.
  • Analysis of catalytic performance based on interfacial interactions.
  • Achieved low energy barrier for the oxygen evolution reaction.
  • Demonstrated excellent catalytic performance attributed to strong interfacial coupling.

Abstract

-CN becomes a spontaneous process, leading to a low energy barrier of the OER process and excellent catalytic performance. This study provides fundamental insights into modulating the catalytic performance by fabricating interfacial electronic coupling between carbides and highly electronegative oxide nanoparticles.
