Key Points

  • To present a rare case of bronchopulmonary pseudosequestration associated with a coronary arteriovenous fistula.
  • Case report of a young female with pulmonary tuberculosis presenting with dyspnea.
  • Diagnostic assessment included imaging to identify vascular anomalies.
  • Evaluation of the lung's blood supply and parenchyma functionality.
  • Identified bronchopulmonary pseudosequestration secondary to tuberculosis.
  • Found an arteriovenous fistula connecting to the main pulmonary artery.
  • Patient was managed based on the unique anatomical challenges presented.

Abstract

Abstract A young female with history of pulmonary tuberculosis presented with dyspnea. She was identified as a rare case of acquired bronchopulmonary pseudosequestration, secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis, part of the lung parenchyma supplied by multiple vessels along with an arteriovenous fistula to the main pulmonary artery.
