Local Holography as Emergent Encoding of Overlap-Coherence Dynamics

Abstract

This paper develops local holography as a finite thermodynamic encoding framework grounded in overlap-coherence dynamics, metastable persistence, and finite observer domains under persistent uncertainty. Unlike static holographic-screen interpretations, the framework treats holographic encoding as an actively maintained thermodynamic membrane supported by distributed overlap reinforcement, coherence production, and irreversible leakage dynamics. The paper explicitly distinguishes local holography from holoscription: the former describes coarse-grained thermodynamic persistence, while the latter captures fine-grained path-sensitive phase structure
