Participants used 'Compound Norethisterone Enanthate Injection' and were followed for one year.

One-year discontinuation rate of combined injectable contraceptives was 98.72% (95% CI: 97.83–99.29).
At 6 months, cumulative user-failure rate was 0.49% (95% CI: 0.18–1.30) and method-failure rate was 0.12% (95% CI: 0.02–1.13).
Side effects were reported by 28.63% of participants, all of whom discontinued using the contraceptive by follow-up.
