Objective. To study the immediate and long-term results of surgical treatment of patients with distal neuroendocrine neoplasms of the pancreas. Material and methods. The results of examination and treatment of 39 patients with neuroendocrine tumors of pancreas body and tail who underwent distal resections are presented. The analysis on the nature of operations, morphological structure of masses, postoperative complications is carried out. The main attention was paid to the factors of unfavourable prognosis and their influence on the survival rate. Results. Complications of III A-B degree according to Clavien– Dindo occurred in 6 (15.4%) patients, there was no postoperative lethality. The 5-year cumulative overall and recurrence-free survival rates were 78.6% and 64.3%, respectively. Conclusion. Surgical treatment of patients with neuroendocrine distal pancreatic tumors is justified by low lethality and frequency of serious complications. Long-term results confirm oncological validity of active therapeutic tactics.
