This project presents the theoretical development and optimization of an Aloe Vera-based cosmetic hydrogel formulation intended for oily and acne-prone skin. The formulation integrates Aloe vera bioactives, Carbopol-based rheology systems, humectants, niacinamide, panthenol, and a broad-spectrum preservative system to achieve hydration, soothing activity, and formulation stability. The work includes literature-supported ingredient justification, comparative formulation analysis, manufacturing SOP development, process flow strategy, quality control specifications, stability assessment protocols, and cosmetic safety considerations. This project was developed as an independent academic and portfolio-oriented cosmetic formulation research project and has not undergone industrial manufacturing validation or clinical testing.
