Abstract

Thirteen 30m x 2m evaluation trenches Three field boundary ditches were uncovered, two intersecting and dated to the 13th century, the third undated but parallel to one of the others and with a similar composition of environmental material. Residual Late Saxon pottery and additional 13th century pottery in the subsoil was also found.
