Abstract

muscle deoxygenation post-swim. These findings suggest that supplementing 6 weeks of CIT to usual swimming training produced greater improvement in swimming performance compared to CMT, but not IMT, partly through improving oxygen extraction in locomotor muscles in young swimmers.
