Smallholder farmers in developing economies continue to face a critical deficit in timely, accessible, and contextually accurate agronomic advisory services. This paper presents the Voice-Based Intelligent Advisory System for Farmers (VBIAS), an AI-driven multilingual voice assistant that provides expert agricultural guidance using Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Random Forest models, and Text-to-Speech synthesis. The system supports regional Indian languages and operates on low-cost Android smartphones. Experimental evaluation demonstrates high advisory accuracy, low latency, and strong farmer adoption during field trials. The proposed framework improves accessibility, precision farming support, and real-time agricultural decision-making for rural communities.
