Abstract

The manuscript provides information regarding the behavior of four grape varieties: Merlot, Fetească neagră, Napoca, and Fetească regală, on rooting success after the application of three biostimulation products: Product A – based on bioactive substance, Product B – based on nitrogen, macro, micro elements, and aminoacids, Product C – based on aminoacids and microelements. Following the comparative analysis of the three biostimulators used in the experiment, Product A proved to be consistently the most effective product in stimulating the rhizogenesis process in most of the tested varieties, especially in Napoca, Fetească neagră, and Merlot. This effect was maintained during the study, indicating consistency in the results and increased reliability in application, regardless of the variety. In addition to the biological efficiency demonstrated by the significant increase in the number and length of roots, Product A also presents an important economic advantage, having a lower acquisition cost compared to the other products analyzed. This aspect makes it particularly accessible for practical use, especially in nurseries and in the production of large-scale vine seedlings. Therefore, Product A can be recommended as a suitable biostimulator in vegetative propagation technologies of vines, being a product that combines agronomic efficiency and affordable application costs.
